    What makes NWU special?

Nebraska Wesleyan University offers a unique blend of academic emphasis with personal growth and development. In addition to preparing students for careers, NWU helps them build critical thinking and effective communication skills, with a broadened view of the world around them.

NWU’s approach goes beyond the classroom, focusing on the whole person to ensure students graduate not just with knowledge, but with the ability to think critically, act thoughtfully, and contribute meaningfully to society. Nebraska Wesleyan equips students with the tools to succeed in an ever-changing world and to lead with purpose.

What advice would you give your incoming students?

My advice is to take full advantage of the opportunities around you to grow both intellectually and personally. Use your time in college to explore and connect with others and align your academic journey with your purpose. The world is changing fast, and NWU will equip you to not just keep up, but to lead with purpose, creativity, and confidence!

What are your favorite secret spots around campus or Lincoln?

As a graduate of NWU, my favorite secret spot is the track. When I was a student-athlete, I spent hours training on the track and it's now one of my favorite go-to spots for jogging a few laps and clearing my mind.
