I would say the sense of community and belonging is what makes NWU special. Since I have stepped foot on campus, it has been an incredibly comfortable experience. Faculty/staff have all been approachable and receptive. Students seem energized for the school year. The campus as a whole just seems to be filled with excitement for what is to come!

Challenge yourself. You have a lot of support around you between faculty, staff, and administrators along with your peers. Get involved. Take up leadership opportunities. Volunteer. All of these things plus so much more will showcase what all amazing opportunities NWU has to offer.

I'm new to campus but as for favorite spots, I absolutely love the theatre along with all the green space for activities. As for Lincoln, University Place around campus is really developing into a fun community. With lots of emphasis on the arts, there are just so many ways to keep yourself engaged with the neighborhood.
